This looked better than I expected. The gold was not too shiny. It fits great sitting directly on top or slightly to the crown of the head. Only problem was that it wouldn't stay on with the pins if you move too much. I used it for a photoshoot and it worked perfectly.

The crown is heavy and sturdy for the price, but the tips of the crown can bend easily so be careful about dropping it because it will dent. You can always straighten it back out if it does dent but be sure not to have to do that a lot . 10/10 would recommend. It also comes with gold hair pins to keep the crown in place.

The crown was beautiful and very well made. However, I had ordered two different types of crowns and decided on the other one. I was able to send this one back with no problems.

This was a gift I sent to someone. She states that it was very nice and beautifully done. She states that it is heavier then expected which was a good thing to her. So far she loves it.

I am a member of the SCA and hold a Court Barony and am a peer. I live in a Kingdom where there are no Sumptuary Laws restricting height and color of Baronial Coronets. If you're SCA Baron or Baroness and live in a Kingdom where the proticol police are bold or the Sumptuary Laws are strict, do not buy the item. It works for my persona. I attached before and after photos. The coronet does come full round with small loops, inside. I clipped them off, and gently bent the piece to be more oval or head shaped. I mounted 6/ 12 mm pearls in the shorter 6 peaks, between the taller 6 fleur de lis. This is very well made and ornate. It's not too heavy on the head. It's more appropriate for a "Court or formal setting." I wouldn't wear it for a normal local event during the day, as I think it's " extra". I'm extra so, it works for me, but I tend to wear a less ornate Coronet during the day. I Love it, more than my other 4 Coronets, which cost, far more than the, less than $30 for this piece.

I bought this crown as a prop for a photoshoot but it soon became one of my favorite possessions. It's not like any cheap gold crown you'll find elsewhere. It's sturdy and fits perfectly. Definitely worth adding to your costume collection.
